The Managing Director has overall responsibility for formulating, executing and managing the department and operations strategy for the organization. The Director might have help from a Assistant Managing Director which assists the director with performing highly responsible financial reporting and analysis functions according to established procedures, requiring knowledge of financial reporting standards and complex accounting systems and reporting tools; responsible for preparation of financial reports and analysis of financial data.

Typically, a Bachelor’s degree is required with a minimum of four years financial reporting and analytical experience preferably in a college or university environment; prior administrative, management and supervisory responsibility; master’s degree and/or CPA preferred.
Essential FUNCTIONS:
1. Responsible for growth, maintenance, development and profitability of branch.
2. Prepare Company plan and budget for branch and accountable for leading staff to reach the financial objectives set.
3. P & L management – budget of revenue and spending.
4. Responsible for the development (benchmarking progress) and motivation of staff.
5. Responsible for identifying, recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, motivating (and terminating-if necessary) branch personnel.
6. Increase market share by leading and overseeing advertising, marketing, sales, service and recruiting efforts in branch.
7. Develop solutions regarding customer-related issues to ensure client satisfaction.
8. Accountable for the business process flow, including recruiting, compliance of I-9, reference checks, and the staff follow-up of associates on assignment.
9. Accountable for guiding the targeting, company development process ensuring the appropriate business mix to reach business goals.
10. Lead the Public Relations effort in the local market.
11. Conduct branch audits. (I.e. job order accuracy, lost and canceled job orders, credit check compliance)
12. Accountable for client and employee retention.
13. Ensure organization policies are followed.
14. Conduct weekly staff and training meetings as well as periodic business review meetings.
15. Administer staff performance evaluations and salary/incentive reviews.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Formal Education: 4 year College degree in a business-related field.
2. Skills:
(a) Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
(b) Ability to function and prioritize in a fast-paced multi-task, team environment.
(c) Ability to meet deadlines.
(d) Problem solving capabilities.
3. Experience:
(a) 6 years prior experience managing a profit center.
(b) 5 years relevant direct hire/staffing industry experience.
(c) Prior successful sales experience required.
4. Other:
(a) Prior successful track record in management and sales.
(b) Computer literacy.
